DOG PARK
The park is currently open to those who have completed the application process and obtained their pass code. Must be a Resident of Lower Heidelberg Township.

Please bring in your Redner’s Save A Tape receipts; Redner’s will donate 1% of your purchase to help support the dog park. You must use your Redner’s Rewards Card in order for the purchase to count towards the 1% program.

E-Bike & Scooter Laws
🛴 Know the Law Before You Ride! 🚲
As the weather warms up, we're seeing more e-bikes and electric scooters throughout Lower Heidelberg Township.
Please take a moment to review the information in this flyer and help us keep our roads, sidewalks, and neighborhoods safe for everyone. 🤝
- Requirements: E-bikes must have fully functional pedals, an electric motor of 750 watts or less, and a maximum motor-powered speed of 20 mph. The bike must also weigh less than 100 pounds.
- Rider Rules: Operators must be 16 years or older. No driver’s license, title, registration, or insurance is required.
- Regulations: Riders must follow all standard traffic laws and use lights from sunset to sunrise.
- Where to ride: Legally, they can only be ridden on private property.
- Why the restriction: PennDOT classifies them as motor-driven cycles. Because they lack necessary equipment like turn signals, mirrors, and factory inspections, they cannot be legally registered or titled for public road use.
